Minimum Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ward rounds and manage patient admissions
Provide high-quality patient care and emergency management
Maintain accurate and legible medical records
Collaborate effectively with consultants and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up care
Ensure adherence to infection prevention and hospital protocols
Participate in clinical audits, staff training, and continuous improvement activities
Support a safe and compassionate healthcare environment
