Minimum Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

• Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)

• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ward rounds and manage patient admissions

• Provide high-quality patient care and emergency management

• Maintain accurate and legible medical records

• Collaborate effectively with consultants and healthcare teams

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up care

• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and hospital protocols

• Participate in clinical audits, staff training, and continuous improvement activities

• Support a safe and compassionate healthcare environment
